Travelers entering the Cayman Islands should review the following information before leaving their home country.
Citizens of Canada do not need passports in order to enter the Cayman Islands. They will, however, need proof of citizenship and a return or ongoing airline ticket. All other travelers should bring a passport along with their return or ongoing ticket. All travelers entering or re-entering the United States from the Caribbean are required by law to present valid passports. This applies to U.S. citizens, as well.
Commonwealth citizens and citizens of these countries must have passports, but do not require visas for entry into the Cayman Islands:

Recently, Jamaica has opened a Cayman Islands Visa Office, where residents of Jamaica wishing to travel to the Cayman Islands can go to apply for your Visa. Citizens of all other countries should contact the nearest British Consulate or High Commission Office for further inquiries and Visa information.

Once you have entered the Cayman Islands, remember to hold on to the pink immigration slip issued upon entry. You will need to present this upon departure.
