All-Inclusive Resorts in the Cayman Islands

Travelers enjoy many aspects of Cayman Island all-inclusives

Many Amenities, One Bill

The Cayman Islands are filled with treasures of all kinds, but all-inclusive resorts are not plentiful here. Still, it's worth the search if all-inclusives fit your style. These resorts offer everything that you'd expect from a high class resort and also include food, drinks, and sometimes activities in the price.

Unlike other resorts, all-inclusives do not offer separate meal or diving packages; instead, meals and some activities (like diving) are included with the price of the room. This can be a savings for people who do not want to travel to a restaurant for each meal, or who wish to participate in the activities included in their resort stay.

This type of resort vacation is also relaxing for travelers who want to lounge by the beach without worrying about carrying a wallet or money. Leaving your wallet behind can be a truly freeing experience if your main vacation goal is to forget about your worries.  At an all-inclusive, you do not need to be concerned about additional charges to your bill. Plus, knowing the total price of your vacation ahead of time can help you budget well in advance.

On the other hand, the drawbacks of all-inclusives are a popular subject for those who object to all-inclusive resorts. Some say that all-inclusives discourage vacationers from exploring the island. Such resorts include everything most travelers will need, meaning that it requires extra effort to go out on the town to experience local cuisine and culture.

The Resorts

Beach Club Colony Hotel and Dive Resort

The Beach Club Colony Hotel and Dive Resort is located along Seven Mile Beach, and offers both European style accommodations and all-Inclusive packages.  Those who purchase the all-inclusive package receive all meals and unlimited non-premium beverages, unlimited non-motorized sports, and introduction to scuba in one of the fresh water pools, and diving for certified divers.  Rooms here cost about $287(USD) per night.

The Reef

The Reef is the only resort on Grand Cayman in which each room has a beach-front view.  Families are welcome, and one of the three pools is even designated especially for the little ones.  Included in the all-inclusive package are all meals and beverages, Wi-Fi, daily activities, and nightly entertainment.  There is also a spa and fitness center on the property.  Rooms run from $230 to $325(USD) per night.

In the end, the choice is yours. If all-in-one convenience sounds like the perfect vacation for you, the Cayman Islands have a few all-inclusive resorts that may be just what you're looking for.
